Meet Tim Paynter: Experienced Chiropractor Ringwood

Hey there! I’m Dr. Tim Paynter, your Ringwood chiropractor. I’ve been practice for over 15 years. My journey in the health and fitness field started with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. While studying, I worked as a personal trainer, which gave me a solid foundation in understanding how our bodies move and function.

Early Career and Education

After finishing my degree, I delved into research, focusing on chronic low back pain for my honors. This sparked my curiosity about treating and managing chronic pain, leading me to pursue a Masters in Chiropractic. During my chiropractic studies, I discovered a passion for clinical neuroscience. This interest pushed me to further my education with the Carrick Institute. After two years of intense study, I passed the board exam for the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.

Continued Learning and Development

For the past eight years, I’ve been honing my chiropractic, rehabilitation, and neuroscience skills through continued education with Brandon Brock Courses and FNOR (Functional Neuro Orthopaedic Rehabilitation) modules. This constant learning has helped me stay at the forefront of chiropractic care.

Diverse Patient Experience

I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse group of patients. I’ve gained extensive experience with older adults, managing chronic conditions like severe arthritis, balance disorders, and navigating the complexities of joint replacements. On the flip side, I also work with active and sporting individuals dealing with both acute and chronic injuries, including concussions and whiplash.

Holistic Approach to Chiropractic Care

My approach to chiropractic care is holistic. I blend classic techniques with low-force methods, dry needling, and targeted rehabilitation. My priority is to help you manage pain, guide you through your rehabilitation journey, and empower you with tools for self-management. I believe in a comprehensive approach that not only addresses immediate concerns but also promotes long-term wellness.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you’d like to start your journey to better health with me.
